The Hummingbird – 6.8 km

Meandering through the upper parts of the Hacienda this trail is specifically for sports enthusiasts and can be explored on foot, horseback, or by mountain bike. It will show some of the most amazing views of the majestic Turrialba volcano, and more.

Trochilinae is the family to which this bird belongs, of which the Colibri genus contains more than 366 species (55 of those are present in Costa Rica). It is the only bird capable of flying in all directions and is incredibly fast. Keep your eyes open for the many hummingbirds that call the Hacienda home!
